Our Insights
The Berkeley School is an independent school that enrolls preschool through 8th grade students, dedicated to intellectual and social/emotional development. It is located near the UC Berkeley campus, and many of the faculty and parents are connected to the prestigious higher level institution. The Berkeley School connected with UA5 to produce the school’s branding and collateral after they changed their name from The Berkeley Montessori School to The Berkeley School. UA5 created a typeface loosely-based on children’s creative endeavors with blocks and colors. This allows for variation in the logos for different groups in the school, such as The Berkeley Mothers and The Berkeley Parents.
