Development Process
Development is the central nervous system of both sites and applications. In each instance the quality of the code is paramount, so it must be built with intelligence and care. Use All Five believes that when implemented well, strong development has the potential to augment the ordinary with an element of magic and wonder. Our development process is designed to foster these hat tricks.
Development
Coding begins when the designs meet approval. We determine scope after considering project trajectory, functional wireframes, information architecture, and desired oomph. No matter the size, projects often require multiple working prototypes at predetermined points in the development phase. Coffee helps the process go smoothly.
Quality Assurance
To guarantee a site or application’s desired function and effect, you’ve got to test and test, and then test some more. We do just that. We conduct extensive unit and cross-browser testing throughout the development phase, every time components are implemented and doodads are decided. Then we discover the fissures and fill them with elbow grease. We flush out weaknesses and adapt. Throughout this phase, we provide the client with detailed progress reports.
Integration / Deployment
During this phase, we get friendly with the client’s internal technical staff to ensure organic implementation into existing systems, when applicable. If something gets bumpy, we’re there to help smooth it out. After we’ve deployed everything, we provide the client with documentation for guiding the evolution and maintenance of the project.
